 | AAGC Press Release - June 2004 |
The Alabama Association for Gifted children (AAGC) recently sponsored a logo contest to have a representative logo to use in for publicity and correspondence purposes.
Out of more than 100 entries, a winning logo was selected by the staff of the Tennessee Valley Art Center in conjunction with the AAGC Executive Board.
The winning artist and designer is Kari B. - a student from Elberta Middle School in south Alabama. Kari received a $100 check from AAGC along with a commendation - appropriately written on new AAGC stationery showcasing her original logo. Congratulations to both Kari and her Gifted Ed teacher Dr. Lawanna Sharpless!
Look for Kari's logo on all future communications from your official state gifted organization. All members attending the 2004 Summer Conference will receive a durable totebag featuring Kari's winning design. Look for the logo in the upper right hand corner of the webpage!
