| AAGC Summer Conference Plans are underway for the annual AAGC Summer Conference. This yearŐs conference specifics are set: With Dr. Mary Landrum spotlighted as the AAGC Keynote Speaker and an expanded vendor offering, this conference is shaping up to be a most successful event. The focus everywhere for 2003 was the Parallel Curriculum Model and Problem-based Learning. Many of you this year have begun adapting curricular units to include these models. We need YOU to share your revised units of study as presentations at the 2004 Conference. The single most requested item in the feedback from the last conference was the inclusion of more sessions for teachers. In order to have more sessions, Please step up and present at the AAGC Summer Conference. Send all Conference proposal ideas right away to AAGC via E-mail or U.S. Mail as indicated in the PresidentŐs Corner article. Your colleagues want to see YOUR ideas! |
AAGC will once again sponsor a "mini-grant" program for AAGC members. Two $250 mini-grants will be offered. Winners will be announced at the 2004 Summer Conference. Criteria: Any Current AAGC member may submit a proposal. The following factors will be considered in evaluation of the proposals: Guidelines for AAGC Mini-Grant: 1.
